Raubling/Cologne. It has barely been launched and the BORA Basic, the intelligent combination of a highperformance induction cooktop and an effective, downward cooktop extractor, has already won its first award: the Plus X Award 2013. The world’s biggest innovation award for products from the fields of technology, sport and lifestyle recognises manufacturers for products characterised by great advances in quality. The judging panel bestowed BORA with the seal of approval ‘Best Product of the Year 2013’ for vapour extraction systems as well as in five categories: innovation, high quality, design, ease of use and functionality. The award ceremony will be held in Cologne on 06 June 2013 as part of the Plus X Award Night.
“Bringing together what belongs together”
BORA Basic is made up of a single, compact system. Based on the philosophy “Bringing together what belongs together”, the innovative pair comprises a high-performance induction cooktop with an effective cooktop extractor in the middle. Two fans within the cooktop work almost silently and in parallel. It takes just a few minutes to install the BORA Basic in any kitchen and is ready for instant use. Attractive and easy to use – cooking quickly becomes an even greater joy. The movable parts of the cooktop extractor are also easy to take apart, making them extremely simple to clean and maintain. The air inlet nozzle and stainless steel grease filter are even dishwasher safe. An indicator on the central touchscreen display notifies users if the activated charcoal filter needs to be changed. The compact combination of the cooktop and cooktop extractor is preconfigured and available in an exhaust air or recirculating air version.
