German première of BORA in the air at area30

Raubling. BORA Lüftungstechnik GmbH, the manufacturer of innovative cooktop extractors known for its unusual marketing activities, is celebrating a German first at area30 in Löhne: the spectacular BORA cooking truck will appear as an eye-catching highlight at this year’s sector meeting in eastern Westphalia from 19 to 24 September. BORA will use crane technology to lift non-vertiginous trade fair visitors 30 metres into the air, where the BORA chef will prepare culinary delights in the glazed cube kitchen.

The carefully converted lorry with a glass cube acts as a kitchen, dining room and event location in one. With an overall length of almost 19 metres, it impresses with a glazed cube and a trailer with a total joint weight of 40 tonnes. The glass cube is the centrepiece of the truck and offers a clear view of the interior where a diverse range of events can be conducted using the integrated BORA cooktops. The cube can hold up to 14 people. A BORA chef will accompany the truck on each of its trips.

International commitment since the Tour de France 2015

The truck’s multifunctional schedule is jam-packed, with it even being used within the scope of the sponsorship activities for the BORA ARGON 18 cycling team: the BORA cooking truck accompanied the team during this year’s Tour de France, acting as a mobile kitchen for the team chef, who prepared specially designed meals for the cyclists to restock their energy reserves.

The truck can be used for a diverse range of purposes on an international basis, including for the BORA Cooking Academy, training courses, trade fairs, press events and road shows. From retailer training to quick lunchtime snacks and after-business events, the truck can be used to meet (almost) all desires. BORA distribution partners can also book the truck for their own promotions. The truck will gradually become a major promotional feature in the BORA brand world. After all, it not only offers the general public impressive and memorable experiences, but also makes BORA stand out from the competition.
