In addition to your qualifications, you should also impress us with your personality. We are a target-oriented company focussed on teamwork and want you to fit in with us as a person too. We want to work with you to achieve more, further develop our market position and revolutionise the kitchen industry.
If you enjoy taking on challenges and cooperation, commitment and independent and conscientious work come as naturally to you as to us, then you are perfect for BORA. We reward commitment and hard work as well as the willingness to undergo personal development. We will foster your talents and strengths. This is part of our 3-pillar support concept:
We organise fitness weeks, provide free fruit for employees and hold staff cooking events to improve employees’ understanding of healthy living and foster their desire to take active responsibility for their own health. We offer exercise and training advice as well as physiotherapy as a preventative measure and for treating acute problems. We regard this care as one of our duties as an employer. We also organise group sporting activities, such as running, cycling and wake-up sport.
We foster the potential of individuals, managers and teams. We believe that internal training concepts combined with external courses enable the targeted development of our employees. We use professional courses as well as trainee and manager training sessions to jointly develop customised career development programmes. Individual success means success for the company as a whole.
Personal responsibility and trust are important to us. We highlight this through a working hours model based on trust and high levels of team responsibility. Our open communication culture ensures regular discussions between employees and managers. We regard feedback meetings, annual reviews and target agreements as natural parts of modern HR policy. We want to jointly celebrate success and reward individual performances.
FAQs/Job application tips
To ensure the fastest possible processing of your application, the best way is to send us all of your application documents, along with your salary expectations and earliest start date, via the online application form. You can find this under the corresponding job description on our website under “Jobs”.
Should this not be possible for technical reasons, please send the documents to email@example.com
Cover letter, CV incl. photo and references (training/secondary education/work)
Our jobs page is always up to date. The posts shown are available or the positions are at least similar. So you are welcome to apply using our online application form.
We are always pleased to receive speculative applications. Under the descriptions of the available posts on our website you will see the “speculative application” tab. Send us your full application documents together with your salary expectations and details of your earliest possible start date. We will then see if your application is suitable for any available posts in our company.
If you see a job description on our website that appeals to you, send us your application documents via our online application form. Once the online application has been submitted, we will trigger the automatic confirmation of receipt message. This means that we have seen your application. Depending on the post, personal interviews take place at our sites in Niederndorf or Raubling.
The first interview generally involves the HR department and the heads of the specialist area in question. At this point it is important to get to know you as an individual. What are your strengths and personal goals? If the first interview is successful, you will be invited to a second interview. After the second interview, there is often also the chance to give you insight into working life at BORA/the post itself and for you to get to know the team within the context of trial work.
Work placements at BORA should be at least 16 weeks, but can be longer. This is because our trainees have the opportunity to work independently and take on their own projects.
If you send an application to BORA but the post does not match your qualifications and personal goals, with your consent we will add your application documents to our applicant pool. That way we can contact you as soon as a new post comes up that is suited to your qualifications and goals.
If your previous work experience doesn’t quite match up with our required qualification profile, you are still welcome to apply. We go over all applications thoroughly and in this case think beyond the post in question. After all, not everything in life is black and white. Please list all of your previous posts accurately on your CV. At BORA we like to focus on our employees as individuals. All applications will be looked at.
Job descriptions apply to all genders, whether male, female or other. We treat all applicants equally.
All information and data that you make available to BORA are carefully processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act. Personal information and all submitted applicant data are absolutely confidential and exclusively for application purposes. Applications in paper form will be electronically processed by us once received. Please understand that we can not return any documents submitted in paper form.
