BORA creates its customer service team

Raubling. BORA Lüftungstechnik GmbH, a manufacturer of innovative cooktop extractors, is continuing to forge its own way by establishing its own customer service team in Germany to optimise service quality and support distribution partners. Existing BORA partner companies are expanding their customer service teams in eight additional European countries. “BORA’s rapid growth has led us to this step, which will fuel the company’s future development”, comments BORA founder Willi Bruckbauer. “A clear aim of the offensive is to resolve all customer service matters at the very first meeting. Customer satisfaction is the number one priority for us. We hope to set new standards in customer service for domestic appliances.”

Initially made up of five employees, the new service unit will be managed from the head office in Raubling and will start to offer field services from November 2015. The unit is a regional network managed by Dominic Rekofsky, who has been Head of Technical Services for the Bavarian company for many years and installed the first prototypes with Willi Bruckbauer shortly after the company was established. He is therefore fully aware of the need for high quality standards and professional expertise: “At BORA, we carefully invest in the training and continued professional development of employees with direct customer contact. It is not only important for a BORA vehicle with all original spare parts to reliably arrive at customers’ premises, but also for a professional service technician to be able to ensure the customer’s satisfaction right from the start”, emphasises Rekofsky.

The aim is to use the extensive spare parts services to offer customers the guarantee of fast, efficient and seamless order processing, covering not only repairs but also matters such as maintenance, energy labels and warranty periods. The ties to distribution partners will also be strengthened through professional expertise and support. For example, the service unit also offers distributors installation support and on-site exhibit inspections.
