  • 500 g almonds (unpeeled)

  • 0.5 tsp chilli powder

  • 300 g raw cane sugar

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 300 ml water

Method

  • Preheat the steam oven

    Preheat the BORA X BO to 170°C / -100%.

  • Prepare the caramel

    Put the almonds in a bowl.

    Pour the raw cane sugar and water onto the deep universal tray and spread them out evenly.

    Once the BORA X BO has heated up, insert the food in the middle of the oven and caramelise for 10 minutes.

  • Ingredients

  • 300 ml water, 300 g raw cane sugar

  • Bake the almonds

    Remove the universal tray, add the almonds and stir well with a spoon.

    Bake for another 15 minutes.

  • 500 g almonds (unpeeled)

  • Finishing touches

    Remove the baked almonds.

    Season with salt and chilli powder to taste.

    Mix together and enjoy.
