Nearly 20 years after the carpenter Willi Bruckbauer first envisioned the original revolutionary cooktop extractor, the BORA brand stands for the power to question the status quo. With the new BORA Pure appliances, a whole range of compact cooktop extractor systems - the revolution continues to take place in the private kitchen. New features and a refined aesthetic allow the BORA Pure family to elevate both innovation and the everyday pleasure of cooking.

Eight appliances to choose from

Back in 2007, the BORA mission was clear: fresh air and an unblocked view for beautifully designed kitchens. Today, the range that was named after its intention PURE includes four different articles: X Pure, M Pure, Pure and S Pure. Considering the surface options, the range even consists of eight products. Four different sizes with four cooking zones and a central round inlet nozzle for effective odour reduction. In their minimalistic design and with a compact installation height of less than 20 cm BORA Pure appliances fit into cabinets between 60 and 90 cm. The aesthetics match any interior design from spacious living areas to the characteristics of traditional kitchens all around the world.
 
Fesh air guaranteed

Thanks to the presence of the air inlet nozzle and the activated charcoal odour filter, BORA Pure cooktop extractor systems ensure fresh air during and after cooking. The powerful extraction performed by the air inlet nozzle and the purification of odours with the new BORA eSwap Plus activated charcoal odour filter ensure pleasant indoor air, without any lingering smell of the sea food or yesterday’s roast.

Created for the ultimate comfort, the display on BORA Pure appliances helps by indicating when the recommended operating time of the purifying air filters comes to an end. After 150 operating hours or approximately one year of intensive cooking and before users become “nose-blind”, the device shows an ‘F’ (for filter), asking for a new BORA activated charcoal filter which can be conveniently reordered online at www.shop.bora.com. Changing the filter takes seconds: the previous filter is removed and replaced effortlessly thanks to the patented BORA filter replacement system, which allows access from above through the easily removable air inlet nozzle.

Matt aesthetics: a new look

BORA Pure cooktop extractor systems feature a high-gloss glass finish and are now also available in a matt finish. The deep black surface of the Schott glass allows the LEDs to shine with clarity, and the soft-touch texture gives end consumers the choice of blending it smoothly with a black worktop. No need to worry about scratches or stains as the velvety matt finish hides nearly every imperfection.

High-end technical features

For BORA, innovation is the ability to identify new solutions that create extraordinary experiences in the kitchen. Controlling the results, selecting the ideal cooking function, and maintaining the perfect temperature are just some of the aspects users are supported on:

1. sControl+ This multi-coloured control system has been designed for a perfect overview. The digital touch panel comes in three colours: white for function settings, red for all heat applications and blue for fresh air. Located centrally at the front of the cooktop, sControl+ is the intuitive operating logic that supports the cooking procedure.
   
   
2. Assist functions connecting the cooktop extractor system to the BORA JOY app. Boiling water for pasta, melting chocolate for a cake, stir-frying ravioli for a special dinner are actions supported by BORA Assist. It could also be brewing a quick coffee with just one click using an espresso pot on BORA S Pure, the goal is always the same: saving time for the user and delivering the perfect result.
   
   
3. Bridge function. Traditional grilling, barbecuing or Asian-style tepan cooking is now within reach of every home cook thanks to the intelligent bridge function. By connecting the two induction zones on the BORA S Pure, BORA M Pure or BORA X Pure, the BORA grill pan can be used just like a tepan grill.

In addition to these features, BORA Pure family comes with an exact timer display and a smart function that prevents any accidental operation during cleaning the cooktop.
