New award for BORA Basic: Interior Innovation Award - winner 2015

Raubling. The eminent German Design Council bestowed the Interior Innovation Award on the product BORA Basic at imm cologne. Presented annually since 2002, this is one of the most prestigious design awards for outstanding achievement in the interior design sector and is now recognised as a quality seal for extraordinary design solutions. The award goes to products with impressive trendsetting de-signs that reflect innovation in the sector.

The product selected by the international jury is an intelligent combination of a high-performance induction cooktop and an effective downward cooktop extractor. Vapours are drawn downwards in the centre of the cooktop by two almost silent fans that work in parallel within the cooktop. The visually attractive and easy-to-use BORA Basic can be installed in any kitchen in a matter of minutes and is instantly ready for use. The product was launched in 2013 and quickly received its first award as win-ner in the “Best Product of the Year 2013” category of the world’s biggest innovation award, the Plus X Award. During the imm cologne interiors show and LivingKitchen, the winners of the Interior Innova-tion Award are displayed in a special competition exhibit in the corridor between halls 2 and 3 as well as in hall 4.2.
