Prepare couscous 

Put couscous into a deep universal tray. Mix water and spices in a pan, bring to the boil and immediately remove from the hob. Add olive oil to the stock and pour over the couscous.  

 

Cook couscous 

Let couscous expand in the X BO (98°/100% humidity, automatic programme “Couscous”) for 8 min. Take the dish out of the oven and loosen up the couscous with a fork before serving. 

 

Pro tip  

For moist, light and airy couscous, pour hot stock over it. Separate it with a fork before serving.

Baking/cooking time: 8 min.

ingredients:

  • 400 g couscous 
  • 600 ml water 
  • 10 g salt 
  • 1 tsp curry powder 
  • ½ tsp ground ginger 
  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder 
  • ½ tsp sugar 
  • 1 pinch of cayenne pepper 
  • 50 ml olive oil
