BORA is once again hosting the ‘German amateur master chef’ competition

It’s back! BORA is once again hosting the ‘German amateur master chef’ competition in 2016 in cooperation with Johann Lafer and TEUBNER

Raubling. BORA Lüftungstechnik GmbH, manufacturer of innovative cooktop extractors, is launching the ‘German amateur master chef 2016’ competition. This will once again be organised in partnership with popular celebrity chef Johann Lafer and TEUBNER Verlag, a prestigious publishing house known for its premium-quality cookbooks.

Ambitious talents can put their favourite home-made recipes to the test until 30 June 2016 by submitting them at www.bora-deutschermeister.de. In doing so, their imagination has almost free rein. The only constraint is that they must create a three-course menu using six ingredients from a set shopping basket. The judges, BORA founder Willi Bruckbauer, celebrity chef Johann Lafer and GRÄFE UND UNZER cookbook expert Bernhard Kellner, will choose their three favourite entrants. These will then receive the opportunity to demonstrate their culinary skills at the final in Raubling in October. In addition to receiving the title ‘German amateur master chef 2016’, the winner will also enjoy a spectacular BORA in the air event: dinner with selected friends in the BORA Cooking Truck. The second and third place runners-up will get to enjoy an evening with their very own BORA chef in a group of up to six people, while those who come forth through to thirtieth can look forward to great prizes from BORA and premium TEUBNER cookbooks.

BORA first launched the competition in 2015. The many highly sophisticated recipes confirmed an exceptionally high standard and led to the decision to establish the ‘German amateur master chef’ competition as a recurring event. This year’s competition will once again be supported by numerous activities on www.bora-deutschermeister.de, Facebook, Instagram and the Microsoft web portal msn.de as well as through flyers in the gourmet magazine ‘Der Feinschmecker’ and by BORA partners in the book and kitchen retail industries.
