Fried potatoes


Prepare the ingredients 

Weigh out all of the ingredients. Wash, dry and peel the potatoes. Then cut into slices (approx. 3 mm thick). Season to taste with the herbs and spices. Peel and finely dice the onions and garlic. 


Cook the potatoes 

Cook the potatoes in the X BO (200°C/-40% humidity, automatic programme “Fried potatoes”) for 15 minutes. Take the tray out of the oven and add the finely diced onion and garlic. Turn the fried potatoes and cook in the X BO (200°C/-40% humidity, automatic programme “Fried potatoes”) for another 5 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve while still hot.  



Pro tip 

So that the potatoes are nice and crispy, use firm potatoes and spread the marinated potato slices out as evenly as possible on the food support.

  • 600 g potatoes 
  • 50 g onion 
  • 6 garlic cloves 
  • 20 ml rapeseed or sunflower oil 
  • Salt 
  • Ground black pepper 
  • 1 pinch of cumin 
  • 1 pinch of marjoram
