Method

  • Prepare the batter

Weigh out and prepare all of the ingredients. Leave the butter to soften. Beat the butter, sugar and vanilla sugar with a hand mixer or food processor. Add the milk and eggs and mix well. Add the flour, salt and baking powder to the mixture and continue to beat briefly. Peel a ripe banana, cut it into large chunks and add to the mixture while beating. Continue stirring once again, without overbeating the batter.

  • Ingredients

  • 115 g Butter, 190 g Sugar, 0.5 tsp Vanilla sugar, 40 ml Milk, 3 units Eggs (medium), 230 g Wheat flour (type 550), 1 pinch Rock salt, 0.5 tsp Baking powder, 1 units Ripe banana

  • Stir in the chocolate

To make a chocolate muffin version, start by melting the dark chocolate. To do so, put the chocolate in a bowl and select the special programme “Melt chocolate”. Add the melted chocolate and the cocoa powder to the batter and mix well. For light muffins with chocolate chunks, add the finely chopped chocolate to the batter instead of using melted chocolate.

  • Ingredients

  • 30 g Cocoa powder, 115 g Dark chocolate

  • Prepare the muffins

Put some paper cases in a muffin tin. Put the batter in a piping bag and pipe it into the paper cases until they are about 2/3 full. Alternatively, spoon the batter into the paper cases using two tablespoons.

  • Start the automatic programme

Start the “Muffins” automatic programme and follow the programme sequence. You will receive push notifications whenever a step takes place in the BORA X BO and you can confirm these at the relevant time.

  • Bake the muffins

Place the muffin tin on the oven rack. Once the BORA X BO has heated up, insert the muffins in the middle or bottom of the oven to bake. Leave the muffins to cool for about 30 minutes before serving.
