On a winning streak with the BORA X Pure: Innovative product wins the Red Dot Award

After winning the renowned Plus X Award and internationally recognised iF DESIGN AWARD, BORA Lüftungstechnik GmbH, manufacturer of innovative cooktop extractors, receives another award for the new BORA X Pure: the Red Dot Award in the “Winner 2020” category for outstanding design quality.

“Having the new BORA X Pure win its third award in a very short time is staggering,” says BORA founder Willi Bruckbauer. He continues, “Offering technologically advanced solutions is one thing, but creating world-class design without compromising, that’s another. It’s a challenge that not only requires an innovative spirit but also an instinct that’s spot on, right down to the last detail. We’re delighted that the BORA X Pure impressed the jury in all aspects.”

About the Red Dot Award

The Red Dot Award: Product Design is one of the biggest design competitions worldwide. In 2020, designers and manufacturers from 60 countries entered more than 6,500 products for the award. The international jury, made up of experienced experts from different specialist areas, has been gathering for around 65 years to find the best, most revolutionary product designs. The international seal of quality is only given to products that stand out from similar products on the market thanks to their good design. True to the motto “In search of good design and innovation”, during their evaluation they value criteria such as the degree of innovation, functionality, formal quality, durability and ergonomics.
