Apprenticeships at BORA

BORA supports young people over a total of three different apprenticeship careers: Business personnel for office management, IT specialists for system integration and business personnel for digitalisation management.

Over 550 visionaries, organisational talents and self-starters work day on day with passion and commitment to BORA’s success and revolutionising the kitchen as a living space. Supporting young potential and the health of employees take priority at BORA.

For over 15 years, BORA has been revolutionising the kitchen as a living space with its own innovative products. Replacing the extractor hood with the cooktop extractor system, which effectively extracts and filters steam and cooking odours, was the first step to simplifying cooking and achieving extraordinary results.

Fields of activity in BORA apprenticeships

Over the three years of the apprenticeship, all apprentices will be given a comprehensive insight into the world of BORA. This gives them the opportunity to get a taste of almost all the company’s activities, to run through all fields of activity via individualised apprenticeship plans and carry out their own projects while always being supervised by the apprenticeship supervisors from each department.

Apprentices will progress onto the next specialist department every two to four months, which will be at one of our locations in Raubling or Niederndorf. Apprentices are supported in their personal and professional development through regular feedback sessions.

The apprenticeship careers are completed as dual training courses. Apprentices will gain theoretical knowledge at the training school, while practical knowledge and skills are taught at BORA. There are three different apprenticeship careers available at BORA: Business personnel for office management, IT specialists for system integration and business personnel for digitalisation management. We’ve summarised the details about the apprenticeship careers in the following.

Business personnel for office management

Business personnel for office management organise and coordinate our office management and project-related processes. Through contact and cooperation with retail partners, end clients and employees, the apprentices will take on a varied range of tasks day-to-day.

Over the course of the apprenticeship, they’ll get insight into various departments such as marketing, sales, procurement and accounting.

With the help of the apprenticeship supervisors of their respective departments, apprentices will quickly acquire the necessary knowledge to be able to tackle projects and actively support the departments in their daily work.
