Vegan burger patties


Prepare the ingredients

Peel the onions and garlic, finely dice and sauté in a frying pan. Pulverise the oats in a food processor. Add the remaining ingredients to the food processor – except for the beetroot – and blitz. Peel the beetroot and cut into small cubes.


Make the patties

Shape the mixture into evenly sized patties and place them on the greased universal tray. Then brush the patties with vegetable oil. Cook the patties in the X BO (200°C/20% humidity, automatic programme “Vegan burger patties”) for 7 minutes on each side. Remove from the oven and brush with vegan BBQ sauce according to taste.


Pro tip

For perfectly formed, evenly sized burger patties, you can use baking moulds or a

burger press. The burger patties can be freshened up really well the next day using the special programme “Reheat food”.

  • 250 g beetroot
  • 300 g kidney beans
  • 1 onion
  • ½ garlic clove
  • 20 g flaxseed
  • 100 g oats
  • 50 g sunflower seeds
  • 45 g tomato purée
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp paprika (smoked)
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper
  • 25 g sesame oil
  • 150 g almond milk
