Food stays fresh for up to three times longer with the BORA QVac vacuum sealer – both the flavour and appearance are preserved and waste is reduced. Three functions offer maximum flexibility: vacuum sealing in boxes or bags, resealing bottles and marinating. Available as a built-in or freestanding appliance.

Unique installation concept

Thanks to the innovative and unique installation concept, the BORA QVac doesn’t take up any space on kitchen work surfaces: like the substructure for the BORA cooktop extractor systems, the device is fitted below the worktop. The built-in vacuum sealer can be installed either flush or surface mounted.

Maximum flexibility

Full power, maximum flexibility: as a freestanding appliance, the BORA QVac Move offers the same range of functions as the built-in version without requiring installation. With a minimalist All Black design and compact structure it is simple to store or can be beautifully displayed on the kitchen worktop.

Super-fast marinating

The marination process is accelerated through the use of a vacuum. Marinades take no more than ten minutes to deeply penetrate food and lend it an intensive flavour instead of several hours or days. 

Keep liquids fresh for longer

The vacuum seal keeps bottled liquids, such as wine or oil, usable for longer after they have been opened. Once vegetables have been cooked, the resultant stock can even be stored as a sauce base, for example.

General questions about the BORA QVac

Where can the BORA QVac be purchased?

The BORA QVac can be purchased from our authorised BORA retailers and our BORA online shop.

Accessories such as vacuum boxes, vacuum bags, vacuum seals and the marinating ring can be ordered from our BORA online shop. A QR code on the vacuum bags directs end customers straight to our shop.

The warranty period is 2 years. By registering the appliance on the BORA website or via the BORA app, an extension of 1 year can be obtained.

To operate the BORA QVac, a standard socket with 1 × 16 A (Schuko plug) is required. 

Yes. Vacuum bags from other manufacturers can also be used.

Three times as long as non-vacuum-sealed food.

The food with the marinade must be placed in a vacuum box. Before the marinating process can begin by pressing the right button (marinating mode), the vacuum valve must be removed from the centre of the lid. Next, the marinating ring is placed on the lid and connected to the vacuum head. This allows marinating to be done in just a few minutes.

No, as the temperature spikes that occur in microwaves can damage the vacuum boxes.

Yes. The BORA QVac vacuum boxes and bags are BPA-free and food-safe. This has been verified and confirmed through various product tests.
