Premièring at LivingKitchen 2015: BORA expands the Basic product range

Raubling. BORA Lüftungstechnik GmbH, a Bavarian manufacturer of innovative cooktop extractors, will for the first time reveal its latest addition to the internationally successful Basic product line at LivingKitchen 2015 in Cologne.

The new product expands the range to include a timelessly elegant, premium appliance that supplies maximum performance for demanding amateur chefs. A milestone in efficiency and design: the large cooktop, surface induction, innovative, touch-operated round slider technology and a high-quality, stainless steel inlet nozzle are all outstanding features of the compact new creation that make it fun and easy for customers to use on an everyday basis. The powerful EC motor is extremely quiet, com-pact and energy efficient. Thanks to the outstanding performance of the new BORA Basic, this achie-ves an optimum cleanrate (a measure of the air purity level when cooking). The operating concept u-ses state-of-the-art technology while the minimalistic design impresses with its sleek elegance: re-duced to the essentials and suitable for use in all open-plan kitchen configurations.

The Schott glass cooktop with a width of 83 cm enables users to simultaneously cook with four large pots and pans. The edge-free cooking zones make it possible to move cookware around freely. A bridging function enables users to jointly operate two cooking zones. As such, BORA Basic is also ideal for use with roasters. The product is set and controlled using the reduced, intuitively touch-ope-rated round slider. The compact all-in-one system with the tried-and-tested, integrated BORA cooktop extractor is available in both exhaust air and recirculating air versions. It takes just a few minutes to install the BORA Basic in any kitchen ready for instant use. The moving parts of the cooktop extractor can be easily dismantled – ideal for cleaning and maintenance.

The third model in the BORA Basic product range again combines all the benefits of the tried-and-tested BORA cooktop extractors – cooking while surrounded by fresh air without the annoyance of a bulky hood, compact technology, barely any noise and premium quality materials. In launching the new product, the innovative company from Raubling, Germany, is further emphasising its commitment to ‘downwards extraction’ and thus to energy efficiency and the design of the kitchen as a living space without an extractor hood. BORA epitomises quality, authentic materials and optimum functionality.
