The road as a stage: BORA is sending its very own Cooking Truck on its travels

Raubling. BORA Cooking Systems, the manufacturer of innovative cooktop extractors known for its unusual marketing activities, is sending its own Cooking Truck out on the road. A spectacularly converted lorry with a glass cube acts as a kitchen, dining room and event location in one. A cut above the rest: crane technology lifts the glass-cube kitchen high into the sky.

With a length of almost 19 metres, the BORA Cooking Truck impresses with a glass cube, a trailer and a total weight of 40 tonnes. The glass cube is the centrepiece of the truck and offers a clear view of the interior, where the broadest range of options is available for presenting and using the integrated BORA cooktops for events and demonstrations. The interior offers space for 14 people and, in good weather, all the doors can be opened. The entrances are accessible via stairs from both sides. A BORA chef will accompany the truck on each of its trips.

The truck’s multifunctional schedule is already packed full. It will be used for courses run by the BORA Cooking Academy as well as for trade fairs, training sessions, press events and road shows. From retailer training to quick lunchtime snacks and after-business events, the truck can be used to meet (almost) all desires. BORA distribution partners can also book the truck for their own promotions. The truck will furthermore be integrated into the sponsorship activities with the BORA - ARGON 18 cycling team right from the outset. It will accompany the team, e.g. during the Tour de France, and act as a mobile kitchen for the team chef who prepares customised meals for the cyclists to help them stock up their energy reserves.

The Cooking Truck will gradually become a major promotional feature in the BORA brand world. After all, it not only offers the general public impressive and memorable experiences, but also makes BORA stand out from the competition.
